I was raised in the Lutheran (WELS) tradition but my upbringing, rich in doctrine, unfortunately, left me with a shallow relationship with Christ and a rejection of the Holy Spirit through His spiritual gifts. This disconnect led me away from Christianity for many years.

A significant personal shift happened in 2011 when I earnestly started seeking the Lord, leading to a profound spiritual awakening. This quest for truth revitalized my faith, challenging the cessationist views I grew up with. Embracing spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy through my mentor Joie Pirkey, opened my eyes to the reality of God’s power, grounding my faith and forging a genuine connection with Christ.

As a founding member of Wellspring at the Cross in Combined Locks, WI, I’ve been actively involved as a church overseer (2013) and worship leader (2020). One of the first gifts God gave me was teaching, guiding me to challenge cessationism through scripture. Thus, Prophecy Watch will also focus on demystifying spiritual gifts, emphasizing their importance in nurturing the church until Christ’s return.

Living in the Appleton area with my wife, Frederica, and our four kids: Finnley, Naomi, Jonas, and Simone, I’ve been blessed with the chance to blend my creative and technical talents in various tech ventures as led by God, including the creation of animation, music, digital marketing, data mining and blockchain technologies.
